Welcome

I am drawn to places in the landscape in which I can enjoy the sensation of the space around me. I choose the places I go to, for the space that I feel when I am there. My preoccupation is about an experience of non-urban place.

I live and work in Bristol and am just coming to the end of an MA by project in Art Media and Design, which I have been studying at the University of the West of England.

My practice is concerned with an experience of space and how this experience can be translated through a visual arts practice.

Previous Work

Throughout my practice I have used drawing to explore a subject. I have been particularly interested in how the boundaries of drawing have been extended into spatial drawing.

Walking

The physical experience of walking through a rural landscape creates connections with those landscapes, as well as shaping the same landscapes over time Pinhole and 35mm photography has been used to document an experiential relationship with the landscape through walking.
